2020 CDANA Convention Information
Dear Dealers and Associate Members,
Due to the COVID-19 issue, the Governor of Texas has declared a "State of Emergency" and the City of Austin has limited gatherings to no more than 250 people until at least May 1, 2020. This scenario not only forces us to cancel but we would NEVER want to put our attendees in harm's way of this virus. We know this is a very fluid situation and it seems to be changing by the hour and we will continue to monitor the situation.
UPDATE
- The CDANA Executive Committee, Culligan International, and the CDANA Convention Committee met to discuss the details regarding the cancellation as well as how we should move forward. At this time, we have determined that is it best to put any future 2020 Meeting plan on "hold" for the next few weeks as we see how the COVID-19 issue unfolds for the system and for the American and Canadian people. We plan to meet in approximately three weeks to reevaluate the entire situation. We will keep you updating on the following:
Postponement of the Convention to the beginning of Fall 2020
Smaller meeting with Live Stream to dealers unable to travel (also a postponement)
Complete Cancelation for 2020
With regards to YOUR Cancellation:
All reservations in our system have been canceled by the four participating hotels. There should be no reason for you to reach out to the hotel(s) regarding your room.
We hope you have reached out to the airlines as they are giving full refunds or credits to use within the year.
It is our goal, starting next week, to begin unraveling the convention and preparing to process refunds to all of you. Further to that, we hope that all refunds are completed within the next 30 days. We appreciate your patience on this as it is quite a bit of work to do but we will get there!
Finally, we hope you know that we are all here for you and ready to support the dealer system in any way that we can during this time. Stay positive, keep focused and know that CDANA has your back!
